New functional Oxford Shoes from FRED PERRY × H.KATSUKAWA
Fred Perry have collaborated with H.KATSUKAWA to release ”FRED PERRY × H.KATSUKAWA OXFORD" footwear on September 28th,.
Both of the two new works will be based on FRED PERRY's Oxford shoes and mix design elements of H.KATSUKAWA's daily-use label CITY CLIMBING®. Pursuing ease of wear and lightness, the sole part has a lightweight air sole, with a reflective strip placed on the medallion part of the waterproof zipper’s quilted tassel. In addition, thin water-repellent coatings on the upper leather surface and a reinforcing agent that repels moisture on the back have been adopted. Furthermore, details have been very particular, such as waterproof thread stitching, and 2 kinds of shoe lacing such as yellow-green and black rubber. The price is ¥ 36,000 (plus tax) and are available from Fred Perry company stores nationwide.
H.KATSUKAWA CEO Eiichi Katsukawa is a shoe designer working on making shoes with unique ideas while inheriting the craft of the British men's dress shoe.
