As I had business in Jimbocho, "Ponchi-Ken" came to mind
First of all, it's well known for its unbelievably delicious katsu (cutlet) curry​ ​
despite being a tonkatsu (pork cutlet) shop.
The katsu curry rice is a popular dish amongst tonkatsu shops. The cutlet is powerful and the curry sauce not mediocre at all. The curry itself is divine. The katsu is also made with a considerable degree of care and attention that means it could easily be the best around.
Yet this alone is not really enough of a balance and hopefully comes served with equal amounts of cabbage, if possible. Mixed with a little curry with cabbage that keeps on coming tastes great and should just be eaten freely. Also something to look forward to! (laugh)
