The S-Class W140 released in 1991. After designer Bruno Sacco famously said “the rear was 10cm taller than I preferred” but looking at it now, it feels as if the height produced a deeply and uniquely sense of feeling.

This is 1.5 times the cost of it’s predecessor and being the bubble economy was unreasonably priced. 25 years later, the price of the current 600SEL is about ¥23 million and think will be thought of being significantly better value for money. Symbolically, it is also named ‘600SEL’.
