911 R

Although we’ve come close to an announcement of the 911R, the engine information so far is that it has a GT3 3.8 litre or a 4 litre transmission only for the MT.

Whats more, GT3RS looks like having the concept of ‘everyday use’ but will inevitably sell out as units will be limited to 600, at a much higher price than the GT3RS, and rear section using parts from the 911.1. With the MT having been stuck amongst recent high performance models, this restriction will be lifted for just the R.

However, in terms of business, they will have to single-handedly hit the mark perfectly from one minute to the next. Truly they will. For this will be the proof of a first-class brand.

Even for a limited model, concept, name, specification, volume, release date, and price all figure. All look to have been thoroughly pursued in one way or another “regardless of whether the customer would want them or not”.

They are trying to sell as a Hermes or Luis Vuitton ultra-luxury sports car. And so far they seem successful.
