HK auctions (After COVID19)

Following Geneva, there was a Hong Kong auction under the influence of COVID-19. Hong Kong was an auction in the aftermath of political turmoil, but overall I think it was a good result. Of course, there are some that have been sold at a price cheaper than the market price, but most of them were in poor condition. On the contrary, the ones in good condition and the rare ones have a stable result. Is it the place in the market where there are always reasons for cheap prices?

Overall, however, I think under the COVID-19 situation, both vintage and modern were excellent results.

Screenshot 2020-07-13 1.47.496265 PN Mk2 Panda 3,965,000HKD (=55 million Japanese yen): 65 pandas with MK2 serial 3.0 (=Mk2 pusher), even though it came with a paper box. Moreover, the luminescent state is a moderate impression. However, it still won the bid for 55 million yen. The price of 6263/65 Panda has definitely risen by more than 15% in the last six months. While the non-oyster pole made of stainless steel is stagnant, it looks like a panda winning alone. This is still the population. Even if you look at the auction list, there are 4-5 non-oyster PNs, and it feels like the panda is just one. I remembered the words that many people said when I first bought a pole, "It is better to buy Oyster PN even if the price is high. The number is completely different".

Screenshot 2020-07-13 1.51.436263 MK1 Tropical 2,250,000HKD (= Japanese currency 31 million): Since it is only the MK1 dial that basically turns brown on the 6263 black dial, it is quite valuable. I thought that this individual's brown was uniform and would go considerably, but this result as well. A couple of years ago, the auction was about $200,000, so it grew more than 25%.

Screenshot 2020-07-12 10.58.586263 YG Black 1,375,000HKD (= Japanese yen 18.9 million): It was a solid gold 6263 in good condition, but it is still a good result. If the dealer makes a successful bid, the sales to the customer would be 2200-2300 after all, including import tax. In that case, it is a price range where you are batting with non-Oyster PN in poor condition. If it is either of those two... If it is the current trend, it may be a beautiful solid gold. However, the dial is black.

Screenshot 2020-07-12 13.52.1316520 Patrizzi 1,312,500 HKD (= Japanese Yen 18 million): Patrizzi's 16520 that has been beautifully changed to a chocolate-like color. With the paper box and dead stock, favorable conditions overlapped, and it has greatly exceeded Estimate. The current 16500 is so popular that it is a bit shadowy, but I have high hopes for the future. With this result, the expectation that Patrizzi's TIFFANY will come out has expanded. It will come out soon.

Screenshot 2020-07-12 11.08.456263 BIG RED 775,000HKD (= Japanese Yen 10.7 million): It came with a paper box, but it seems that neat things around here come at a price. As for 6263 BIG RED, the number of products produced is large, so the price range depending on the condition seems to be large. Bad things are cheap, beautiful things are expensive. The so-called polarization is expected to continue to progress.

Screenshot 2020-07-12 10.58.086240 PN 2,000,000 HKD (= Japanese currency 27.6 million): The 6240 PN, which was said to have not existed until a few years ago, seems to have been OK steadily since Antiquorum recognized it several years ago. I think it was a model that was not sold at that time, but there is a rule that the case is around 6658.xxx of 6240, and the dial is a black PN dial for 6239/41 (red winding). Since its appearance, it has been priced higher than the 6239/41 black PN under the same conditions. It would have been OK if there were more things that could be handled as an auction house, but I can't deny that the value of the 6263 OysterDown has declined as a result. In the first place, OysterDown was valuable as "the only black pole of Rock Pusher", so if you can buy a similar looking 6240 Black PN at less than half price, it is natural that OysterDown will be depreciated. It can be said that it is a tragedy caused by Anticolm's runaway, but it is also an interesting part of the watch that such a thing happens.

Screenshot 2020-07-12 14.25.055740/1G-001 1,500,000 HKD (= Japanese currency 20.7 million): WG Nautilus equipped with perpetual calendar, which is the current model. The domestic list price is 14.26 million yen, but it is about 2200-2500, and it works in Japan. This time too, it seems that the bid was made at the last minute price that EXIT would be tough if biting more. By the way, the existence of this 5740 TIFFANY has been confirmed, so it will be interesting if it comes out in the future.

Screenshot 2020-07-12 15.21.525167A-001 TIFFANY 675,000HKD (= Japanese currency 9.3 million): It is TIFFANY of Aquanaut 5167, but it was 4 times the domestic regular price of 2.27 million with 2011 made and a little old individual. It seems that if you are like New New around 2019/20, you can aim for a little higher. Since 5167 has been in production for a long time since it was released in 2007, it is estimated that there are at least 50-80 TIFFANY individuals in the world, and it is likely that they will gradually appear on the front stage.

Screenshot 2020-07-12 20.44.563970EP Black 937,500 HKD (= 13 million Japanese yen): The 3970P Dia Index, which was temporarily trading at around 17 million in Japan, has recently been flying at low altitude. This time, it has recovered to 1300 after a long time, but this is a factory seal (= new) individual. If it's normal, 1100-1200 is the maximum market price. In the previous Geneva, the bar index with a small number of 3970P had CHF 180,000, so the evaluation is different from that of DIA.

Screenshot 2020-07-12 14.39.1616516 Platinum 25,375,000 HKD (=350 million Japanese Yen): Platinum Elpuri Daytona, only five of which were manufactured by the CEO of ROLEX at the time. One of them was a very successful bid. The individual that appeared at the auction before was a gray lapis dial, but this time it is a blue lapis. I think this is an investment rather than wearing it.

Screenshot 2020-07-12 14.42.583700A TIFFANY 1,250,000HKD (= Japanese yen 17250,000): The condition of the dial and case was not the best 3700 TIFFANY, but this result is also popular with Nautilus. If this is dead stock, it's possible we could have targeted $250,000. After all, the popularity of Nautilus is amazing. At the same time, it was more expensive than the 3800 TIFFANY exhibited in PHILLIPS.
