The Speedster is rumored to be announced in June. I wonder if this revamp marks the end of the 991? The hood on the test car has been disguised like an ordinary cabriolet, but is actually a simple top like the Boxster Spyder. There may be a power bulge as is usual on the rear deck and the side profile is also different. I wonder whether the windscreen angle is shallow or the same and cut short?

There are rumors the engine is the same as the GT3 RS, but I’m not so sure. If I think of the Speedster character, I think a naturally aspirated engine is better. I think it will have a Tiptronic setup, but wonder if there’s the possibility of manual transmission?
