Millennium’s latest offering. Of course the author died when the Book 3 was published, after which another writer David Lagercrantz who took over and Book’s 4 and 5 were then published. Though far from the fun of original books, I guess it should be a good read, if only to understand what Lisbeth has been up to from a fan’s point of view.

Book’s 1,2 and 3 were made into films in Sweden. After that, Hollywood’s David Fischer released a version of the first one. Daniel Craig stepped down and production of a sequel stalled for a long time. However, Hollywood is currently shooting a sequel (although Book 4) and should be released at the end of the year.

It looks like Mikael and Lisbeth will be played by different people. Will it work? Incidentally, the director seems to be the director of ‘Don’t Breathe’.
