Spicy curry in Kyoto is on the the up recently and besides traditional food can be enjoyed in a variety of ways.
‘Nishitomiya Croquette’, the croquette shop​
Ingredients are blue cheese, salmon, octopus, and so on. A single dish of this is good as well. Perfect for the bar.
What I really like is the Croquette bread used. Next time I want to take-away.
In actual fact, the room in a nearby apartment is a croquette factory, but at night it becomes a wine bar.
The best location you could hope for overlooks the Kamogawa river. Another reason that makes it so good.
There’s no doubt it’s one of the shops that making up the new Kyoto.
