Geneva Results

It seems Geneva was really successful this time with an amount paid (11 million CHF) for one of the highest bids ever for a Patch wrist watch. These are some of the others.

To begin with, this Brown dial Double Swiss underline Ref. 6239 is the most important thing right now. With several of these brown dial models in the world, its condition is now considered to be among the best. Although it was expected to be fetch 200,000 CHF, it reached more than 300,000 at 310,000CHF. Originally, the Double Swiss system was the first Daytona model with its rare quality hidden within a flashy model like the PN but the change in price showing it was undervalued ensured its status. It seems that this white model is more popular after all, even though the black dial is not that different from with other models.

Although the 2.8 serial number of this Ref.6263 Panda Tiffany doesn’t fit well with the Tiffany font which detracted from estimations, it still fetched a high price in the end of 874,000 CHF.

This is a Patek with a Ref.3970 black dial. The watch is genuinely beautiful and the special dial’s case and bespoke color are wonderfully matched. This Ref.3970 also went for more than twice the usual evaluation, exceeding 300,000 CHF. The same dial also came in salmon pink and black but this one is especially beautiful.

Although surprisingly this Bond / Sub didn’t become as strong and also said to be one of the most important brown watches in world, as a Submariner it still managed to fetch the highest bid ever with a record 562,000 CHF.

And although the reference with this Ref.4767 is not generally included with Killy, it is also said to come with pre-Killy. The overall gold impression is difficult for Japanese collectors but seems to suit Italians.
