The culinary meat of ‘Miyoshi’

The restaurant that specialises in culinary meat.
There are several places in Kyoto well known for cooking meat. Maybe it was about 10 years ago when I visited for the first time, one of which was ‘Yassan’ that I was told that the headstrong owner would suddenly give an appetiser of bread crust. I thought to myself “Why the regular seat, considering Katsu Shintaro had also visited the store, I’m a newcomer and not a big name”, though I was nonetheless gratefully. For certain reasons I’m always tasting beef stew, mainly because everyone is always eating delicious-looking curry. For some miraculous reason I visited this restaurant this time. Even in ‘Saiki’ in Ebisu I was able to sit right in front of Kuni-san (super regular seat) without any hesitation. And in ‘Higekatsu’, the kushi-katsu restaurant in Osaka’s Hanazono where I couldn’t take pictures, I had to guess the secret recipe used for the food I had (laugh)
Well, this is ‘Miyoshi’ after all.
For people that love the best cuts, this place will probably be unbearable. Every portion is delicious. The first to come is sliced tongue or ‘tan-zashi’, cooked perfectly. Flavour is at its best. Though the marbling of flattened meat that keeps coming I personally find a little difficult … Perhaps it’s enjoyable once the unusually delicious stew, which is really refined, or even the ‘dote’ come out. I want another dish, like some fresh vegetables.
The French style hors d’oeuvres are difficult to enjoy in a Steak restaurant, and think the steak which is delicious works better with just salad. But maybe this is because the quality of tongue is not that good.
When I entered, a lot of people were talking loudly about ‘Masuda’ in Gion, which makes a lot of sense.
