Senju-no-Nagami
I enjoyed Kita-Senju a little more this time.
Well, the izakaya bar Senju-no-Nagami stood out at least.
Last order is in another 30 minutes, but it’s okay since we can’t eat or drink that much.
The speciality is ‘senju-age’. Sweet onion with ‘satsumāge’ (fried fish cakes). By itself is fine but may be eaten with wasabi mixed with and a little bit of soy sauce is better. The reason for the onion or leek is because this is Senju, or so I thought.
We also get given okara, and toast with a glass of fresh Lemon-hi (shōchū with soda).
Yeah not bad at all. I may come here a little earlier next time. Surprisingly enough Kita-Senju is not that bad after all.
