The final interior for this Alfa Spider is pretty good. It has an atmosphere of genuine seductive charm, without any excessive design or unwanted curves.

Of course an older generation is good, but at the height of the ‘90s I don’t feel it’s unnecessarily ‘retro’. Does need to be for the car obsessive in order for it be any good?

There was the unique shifter position protruding from the main console for example, which was unique to the Spider. These days as a matter of course 3AT was also available, but still …

I especially like the design of the shifter. Although this shape became something you could get on the secondhand market, it feels reliable and genuine.
