Miyuki-age

Sankou Oden Izakaya, in Katamachi.

Of course ‘oden’ is delicious but ‘miyuki-age’ was a real surprise.

This so-called ‘satsumage’ (fried fish cakes) has the greatest soft-and-fluffy texture that I have ever tasted.

I wonder if it’s only the white fish with a soft-and-fluffy texture?

What about the ‘yamimo’ (Japanese yam)?

It’s a special dish you’ll definietly only taste at Sankou’s.

By all means, when in Kanazawa stop by.

 

The lesson this time,

There are quite a few places in Kanazawa closed on a Wednesday …

So beware.
