I asked a trusted Parisian friend who knows their food for information on “where to find really delicious Onion Gratin Soup?” and they immediately replied, “it may be unexpectedly touristy, but Flottes is delicious”. So we both went for lunch right away.

Ahhh, it is certainly delicious. This is what you call French Onion Gratin soup, soup with a dark flavour from plenty of cheese salted cheese. The sweetness of the onion occasionally comes through as well, and although theres not enough soup, this is truly authentic.

Flottes is added to my Parisian lunch list.
