Toyoda

Toyoda in Jiyugaoka is one of three major Japanese deep-fried restaurants (Kajiwara-approved).
Karaage (Fried chicken) is the main cuisine.
Besides that, pickled cucumber and grilled ‘Onigiri’ (rice balls) were the only dishes added to the menu after relocating premises.
With Beer and Sours,
the Karate’s taste comes through the most.
First up is Sunagimo (chicken gizzards). Fresh and chewy, they are fun to eat, along with Shichimi (a mixture of seven different spices).
A ripen Peach is fully prepared, with this dish changing the very concept of Karaage.
Juicy meat under thinly fried crispy skin is soft and melts in the mouth.
Well-fried chicken wing bones are also partly edible. Since there is a good way of eating, you shouldn’t hesitate to ask staff how. The part of the body is prepared on Hanshi (Japanese calligraphy paper), and mixed with a blend of salt and Shichimi, when eating.
It is perfect all the way down to the Chicken soup at the very end. Unbearable for chicken lovers.
