2020 Pulsar
The Hamilton PSR, a reprint of the representative model P2 of Pulsar, established by Hamilton in the 1970s, was announced. The design seems to be faithfully reproduced, and the atmosphere is quite similar to P2 at the time, but the key logo is still HAMILTON instead of Pulsar.

In 1979, Hamilton's parent company, SSIH (Swatch Group), sold the Pulsar brand (or Pulsar brand name) to Seiko, so I think Hamilton may not be able to name Pulsar. Nevertheless, if I had the passion to reprint faithfully so far, I wanted SEIKO to pay for the use of the name and put it out under the name of Pulsar. Even if this watch gets higher, the brand value may have been raised.

In the original, the LED was lit only when the button was pressed, and in other cases the internal LED mechanism was slightly visible, but this model seems to be lit all the time. Of course it is convenient, but it was a major feature of the pulsar, so I feel a little disappointed.

In general, a reprinted model, no matter how similar, is just a “reprint” and an image of color and mono is inevitable, but with regard to Pulsar, the original repair at that time was difficult, This is likely to gain a certain degree of popularity, as the number of good individuals that work on is decreasing.
However, the pulsar at that time was an attractive design. A mysterious atmosphere where the near-future and the smell of America live together.
