Tayyabs
A restaurant I had Jonathan Barnbrook take me to almost two decades ago.
I headed back prepared, unable to forget the dry meat curry at the time. I’ve been to London three times already this year, but since I haven’t been there even once in 10 years since then, I was also pretty fortunate to have the chance to pay a visit.
At that time it was set up like a boarding school dining hall with large wooden tables and just benches in place, but had now become a seriously flashy Indian style restaurant (lol).
And since alcohol is not sold, bringing your own remains the same.
I thought the dry meat was beef but it was lamb. However, it is tasty. And insanely cheap.
The meal in general feels a lot like Yoyogi’s 'Ahilya'. A reservation is required.
