I’ve long yearned for unagi (eel) from Yoshizuka.
Although Daikichi Hakata of comedy duo Hanamaru introduced on the TV show ‘Ame Talk’, it was a well-known restaurant I tried going to any number of times before that and failed.
This time I timed my first visit just right.
The small dish on the right is sauce. I guess this style gives an idea of just how good this store really is.

Unajū is rice and unagi eel served separately.

Since I started eating before taking a picture, the sauce has moved to rice and is also missing one unagi (lol)
Oh! My! So delicious.
There is only one place to eat unagi (eel) according to stylist, Mr. Wataru Okumura.
Skin is beyond crisp and crunchy, and tastes unlike anything else. It’s also great the rice tastes so well.
Personally, I think Nagoya’s ‘Ibashou’ here and are twins …
