Matsukawa

I returned from my trip to Europe and went straight to Matsukawa.
Japan is amazing.
t’s been a while since I ate Japanese food, after travelled to Swiss, Milan, Slovenia, Croatia, Hungary, Austria.
I want to eat Japanese food, or washoku every time I'm in or around Vienna I inevitably go to the same washoku restaurant every time.
I was really amazed at how great a difference there is between a luxury Japanese washoku-ya restaurant in Vienna and Matsukawa in Tokyo. The food was not the same.
In Japan it is the season of the matsutake mushroom and I didn’t know how good the taste of matsutake mushroom was until recently.
Just steamed soup before in a special dobin-mushi teapot was enough but recently discovered the taste.
And this time was convinced by Matsukawa. Delicious matsutake is the best.
I also ate ruibe of squid for the first time.(‘ruibe' is a dish traditionally from the Ainu region in Northern Japan of half frozen sashimi).
This is really delicious. The ruibe has such potential!
The impact of aka-dashi (red miso soup) is unforgettable. This was delicious as well.
