Ajihyakusen​ ​is definitely one of the top five izakaya in Japan.​
Booking is required for the Butter Potato, that became famous in our bible, ‘Oishinbo’ (‘Noma’ had a copy as well) I was able to experience it for the first time as for one reason or another it had not been possible to get a reservation up until now. This is delicious. It don't I can make this myself … It may not be the same thing but I would like to eat this from time to time.

Sapporo nights are long. We quickly disperse after giving it our all. Even the same with ‘Sakito’ in Fukuoka. Because we were already so satisfied with the appetizers, The goma-saba (mackerel with sesame seeds) and whale tail are more than enough. Not forgetting the menchikatsu (minced meat).
