Daytona YG (non oyster)

Even if on the look out for a pure gold non-Oyster Daytona they’re surprisingly hard to find. This is because only few were ever produced originally, but a big reason would also be because it was destined to be substituted with a PN dial.

Since 2-Line and Small models don’t exist in pure gold, it’s clear there are 3 dial designs in terms of line-up —‘Jumbo’, ‘Normal Daytona’ and ‘Cherry logo’. Surprisingly because of the model’s severe conditions it doesn’t meet the specific serial number of the Jumbo Ref..6241/39. And in the case of the Coppertone dial there’s also a Jumbo Champagne dial. All pure gold Ref. 6262/64 are set as Normal Daytona, but there is a Cherry logo.

This is because when it comes to pure gold models, Tiffany have plastic bezels (i.e: Ref. 6241 and Ref. 6264).

That said, I still think that the value of pure models will continue to go up in the future.
