I have no idea what happens on Orient Express is apart from that fictitious murder long ago.
Having tea with a friend who’s also the Orient Express art director, I asked “what is it exactly, is it still running?” and then heard it’s possible for a limited time to meet and enjoy a meal prepared by Yannick Alléno.
Sounds fun.
So somehow managed to force my way in make a reservation for the weekend.
The french cuisine was delicious in it’s own way but being on the train for an hour and a half was an interesting challenge, Then the train pulled into a place called Gare d’Epernay.
A rainbow at sunset. Appearing then fading away, I wonder if this was part of the production too.
Then it was back again to Paris.
A mysterious trip roughly 4-hours long.
The train departs Paris Airport until July 16, and then departs Bordeaux Airport from July 20th until 30th.
If anyone interested is in Pairs around then and fancies experiencing a slip in time should by all means visit.
Unfortunately, there was no murder.
And Poirot did not appear …
