I bought this book thinking I’d read it on the plane on my way to Europe, and then forgot to bring. (laugh)This book
Bread from Northern Europe is really delicious. There are quite a few examples of ‘Sour Bread’ from the West Coast America. I often think people dislike but the Scandinavian sort in actually really delicious with just the right amount of acidity and rich texture. Of course restaurants produce their own bread without affecting bakers selling their produce at the market. So in that sense, a ‘best of’ guide is not at all necessary (laugh).
I want to read it again but carefully because I want to revisit Stockholm in the near future, and especially since I had some problems in Scandinavia and didn't have time in read it properly. However I am not a fan of the coffee (laugh).
