But I think it was Ace’s scooter that fell from the cliff. This is Jimmy’s Lambretta. A few years ago it was exhibited at auction and sold for roughly ¥5 million (approx £36,000) ​ ​

Incidentally, I really liked the album that Phill Daniels, who played Jimmy, released back then. But think it wasn’t out on CD.

For the time being, I think I’ll re-watch ‘Quadrophenia’ before the sequel comes out.
