Kurogi

Yushima’s ‘Kurogi’.

It’s the first time in a month I’ve visited Yushima’s ‘Kurogi’.

As everyone knows, the restaurant is run by current overall ‘Iron Chef’ Jun Kirogi.​ ​

A graduate of ‘Kyoaji’, he only serves seasonal ingredients used in the best cooking.

I never get tired of coming here, no matter how often.

This time, bamboo shoots were carefully grilled for over 2 hours.

Firefly squid was cooked in rice.

It was wonderful.

I’m looking forward to my next visit.
