Hakata Torikawa Nagamasa

‘Hakata Torikawa Nagamasa’ in Yotsuya.

I discovered the place that serves my favourite Hakata cuisine in Yotsuya.

Grilled ‘torikawa’ (chicken skin) involves a unique Hataka recipe of cooking 7 times over 3 days.

 

The mouth is filled with flavour of the chicken skin and is surprisingly fresh, although a little bit greasy I think.

Non-stop, I’ve eaten 10 of them in no time whatsoever.

Other than that, the menu is perfect.

To finish we have ‘tamago-kake-gohan’ (an egg yoke over a bowl of rice) which is delicious.

I want to come again when I am in the neighbourhood.
