It feels strange watching the market when “there are so few small non-oyster dials for sale”.

This reason more than likely being that many individual 6239/6241 had been modified to a Paul Newman dials (often replaced with a no step dial). In that sense, the future of the normal dial of Ref. 6239/6241 may on the contrary become valuable, which might be interesting.

There are quite a few variations in notation, as with the Jumbo, 2line, and 2line+Daytona type, but since the number of them are small because of genuine Ref. 6239 Tiffany that also exists, they make an attractive object of any collection.

Moreover, the normal black dial is relatively interesting since Ref. 6239 stainless steel bezel is also fairly beautiful.
