Rear Garnish
From the late ‘80s through the ‘90s, the rear garnish on German cars used parts made by other companies. It’s said that you can see the wind from tail lights between the left and right rear lens.
For example, BMW use these kind of parts.
Normal tail lights were like this.
As the general tone at that time of the tail light was a straight line it’s why these parts were so widely used. But now the tail lens embedded in the flash unit at the very beginning, it’s impossible.
Mercedes also used the same.
Original manufacturers also adopted this style. For example, the Audi 80 Avant. The normal taillight is like this.
Something like the RS2 … that was like this.
This style, even now is being used on the Porsche even. It’s said that only Carrera 4 has suffers in this way.
Porsche is also really good when it comes to dealing this area.
