This could be used to store food with but I think it’s best used as an accessory case when travelling. The ziplock is easy to close without any argument. It may prevent liquid leaking because to atmospheric pressure so can be placed in a suitcase (fairly certain anyway). S-size is good for coins, notes and receipts,​ ​
