It seems that only 28 pieces (+ AP7) were made as part of fundraising at the exhibition of only Richter's Edition works held at the Volkwang Museum in Essen in April 2017. It seems that it was sold for around $ 40,000 from the beginning because it was made luxuriously. Considering the small number of works, it may be that the destination was mainly related to the museum.

The work is here. Oil onSkull (CR548-1)This is a work in which the photograph of the photograph is crimped onto glass and the surface is finished in a mirror style. The size is exactly the same as the original oil painting, 55x50cm. Here is a picture of two pieces displayed side by side at an exhibition in Essen. The surroundings are reflected while the skull is faintly visible.

A little later, I came to Japan with only one or two points. That is this work. It's hard to convey even if you shoot it, so if you have a chance to see it somewhere, I would like you to see it. I think it's an Edition that has a different charm from the original.
