The limited jewelry collection of "Cartier", which was announced on the runway of "sacai" Fall / Winter 2022-23 collection, is finally on sale. Sacai designer Chitose Abe and Cartier have reconstructed the design of the Trinity Ring, which is celebrating its 100th anniversary. Introducing all 6 models.

"Trinity" that unites love, friendship, and loyalty"Move" to the ring

"Trinity" is a combination of three rings: pink gold, which represents love, yellow gold, which represents loyalty, and white gold, which symbolizes friendship. Designed in 1924 by Louis Cartier from the idea of Louis Cartier to blur the boundaries between jewelry and sculpture, masculine and feminine, ornaments and symbols. It was re-announced in 1981 as "Cartier Trinity". Since then, it has been favored by celebrities such as Jean Cocteau, Madonna, and Princess Catherine for over a century.

Chitose Abe of sacai, who liked the simple and powerful design of "Trinity" from an early age, reconsidered the form, the curve of the ring, the position to wear, and the function while keeping the three colors. "Similar to the approach to clothing, I explored how movement changes shape. The distance between each ring acts as a metaphor for tension between the values of loyalty and is familiar. As a starting point, I thought it was as if it was moving in order to create something new. "

Consists of 6 models of 2 rings and bracelets, chokers, single earrings, and versatile pieces that are both single earrings and rings. Cartier International President & CEO Cyrille Vigneron commented, "A new trio of art that is not stereotyped, powerful and gentle."
