Takahiro Miyashita x EYEVAN launches eyeglass brand
EYEVAN is launching a new eyewear brand called TAKAHIROMIYASHITATheLeftEye., with the designer of TAKAHIROMIYASHITATheSoloist., Takahiro Miyashita, coming on board as the designer.
The debut collection features two models. The 0000. series is based on the idea of making sunglasses that James Dean would likely wear. The temples are designed to expand so that the sunglasses can be worn around the neck as well.

The distinctive 0001. series features glasses that cover the nose, paying homage to Japanese musicians with a 60s sunglasses feel. Both sides of the frames have iconic star symbols.
Mr. Miyashita commented on the eyewear brand, saying "With clothing, you can be a size medium and still wear the large size, but like hats and shoes, glasses have to be perfectly fitted. They are almost like jewelry and I see them as eternally beautiful things. 'Listen To This Glasses.' "
These items will be sold from February 12 at "POP BY JUN" on the first floor of Shibuya PARCO ahead of the brand's March launch. The pop-up store will be giving away free commemorative stickers to visitors, as well as a special book limited to 999 copies to those whose purchase eyewear.
