5512 Eagle Beak

Alongside the SCG, Ref.5512 is a premier ‘Eagle Beak’ model. As the name implies, it’s shape is a characteristic of the crown guard. The SCG bezel is also a Red Top with 2Line dial notation, manufactured in 1959.

The 5512 SCG and 5512 Eagle Beak have grown in popularity. I’d would guess if abroad, this class of watch would fetch, say, 100K (100,000 USD)

As SCG and EB are so few and far between, their ‘aura’ has something more than a low-level James Bond model about them, and it’s no wonder they have risen in popularity.

From this image you can see the evolution of the crown guard shape. In order form front to back, SCG – Eagle Beak – PCG.
