Sketch of GENTA

A sketch by Gerald Genta, a freelance watch designer. The left is the Royal Oak in 1972, and the right is the Nautilus in 1976.

At the time of their debut, the movements (AP / Cal.2121, PP / Cal.28-255) developed by Jaeger-LeCoultre were almost the same. The big difference is the water resistance, where the Royal Oak was water resistant to 50m, while the Nautilus was water resistant to 125m.

But what would the world be like without Gerald Genta?
