Case shape difference
You often see vintage Rolex saying that the case or bezel is thin.
This means that the watch polishes the case to remove scratches when it is overhauled. Polishing = scraping metal to remove scratches, so the case gets thinner. When you lose weight, the sharpness of the edges is lost and the case shape collapses, giving you a rounded impression. Not only the case but also the bezel is used to lose weight.
Here is a picture of two innocent Paul Newman. Look at this difference. For the black pole (6239JPS), the bezel is thin and thin, and the case is round, so it lacks a crisp impression. Then look at the 6239 champagne pole with a million usd.
Bezel edge sharpness and thickness. The beauty of the case shape and the sharpness of the rug. The dimension is already different. Even the width of the bezel is completely different. Originally the same parts.
If you compare the two, the beauty will be completely different. It is in this part that there is a big difference in price even with the same model. Sometimes the case shape can affect the beauty of the watch more than the condition of the dial.
