TUDOR launched in Japan
Swiss watch brand TUDOR will make a full-scale landing in Japan. On October 31st, a permanent store will open in Isetan Shinjuku main building, and will open pop-up shops in Daimaru Tokyo and Takashimaya Nihonbashi Watch Maison. Even then store in Osaka and Nagoya will start rolling out nationwide.
Rolex founder Hans Wilsdorf launched a new company in 1926, and began to manufacture TUDOR “wanting to make a pioneering watch with the technology and reliability of Rolex.” Because it is a watch with unique features and technology with a strong brand guarantee, it was immediately accepted into the rapidly growing watch market at the time, and increased the brand's popularity.
The brand’s symbolic ‘BLACK BAY’ collection is a masterpiece made from more than 60 years of history as a diver's watch. The ‘Black Bay GMT’ was announced at this year’s Baselworld, equipped with a GMT function and the ‘Black Bay Fifty-Eight’ given the brand's first ever diver's watch face, both with a Power reserve of roughly 70 hours, and equipped with a mechanical movement developed completely in-house that is waterproof up to 200m.
As well as this, the company has also introduced ‘PELAGOS’, a full-scale divers watch collection using a steel folding clasp equipped with a patent spring mechanism, and the ‘HERITAGE' collection which fuses new technology with function and new technologies in subsequent models that collectors are crazy about, with a colorful style of TUDOR also being rolled out in Japan.
