Richter’s Abstraction show opening was held at the Museum Barberini in Potsdam, Germany. The exhibition literally focused on Richter’s abstract paintings and the contents were magnificent as well. The magnificent line-up was gathered from private collections borrowed from owners all over the world and those owned by the Gerhard Richter Archive. It’s also a rare chance to be able to see his $3million-mark works, on display until October 21st. It is a bit far but well worth the trip for those who plan on staying in Europe. A lot of the large pieces are also on loan from Japanese collectors.
