Meguro’s​ ​‘Mescita‘​ ​has closed down and reopened as an extremely private restaurant.
Another restaurant, or, another kitchen, that is. Since it seems like we’re taking part and participating in the owner’s family kitchen, it’s called ‘Suzuki-ya’ (or The Suzuki Family).
As with ‘Mescita’, every dish is without any frills but unbelievable delicious; Bright and delicate; Elaborate and exciting.
The open filling crostini feels like it’s added to the rich mix. But maybe it was there before.
The pasta is to die for.​ ​
I could eat this every day, but I can’t finish. Someone will have to bring me again. I don’t even know how to make a reservation (lol).
