The first collaboration ‘PORTER × Teva HURRICANE XLT 2’ will be released by PORTER (from bag maker Yoshida Kaban) and Teva, which was born as a result of developing the world’s first strapped sports sandal in 1984. It will go on sale at Porter stores in Japan and aboard, as well as the official Yoshida Kaban online store from Saturday, May 26th, and will also be on sale at the official Teva website from Monday, May 28th.
The special version ‘PORTER × Teva HURRICANE XLT 2’ is based on the HURRICANE XLT 2 updated this year with a classic model that symbolizes Teva. Codura® Nylon with an outstanding tear and tensile strength is used for part of the strap, and strap-ends carry easily adjustable buttons and ‘returns’ sewn and finished like a bag. Furthermore, easy detachable buckles are used on ankle straps, and the footbed is finished in a suede microfibre giving maximum comfort even when barefoot. The logo of both brands are on the footbed with a Porter tag on the heel strap. It also comes supplied with a drawstring bag using Porter-made mesh material to also carry dirty sandals.
