G63 Grill

An image of the test car thought to be the G63.

First of all, the grille seems as if it has horizontal bars but this is described below. Headlights have a black finish and AMG style vents protrude outward. Brake calipers are red. The width of the fender itself looks the same as the G500 AMG Line, but since the shape of the froth bumper is different becoming wider it looks as if there’s no aperture in the front fender. The rear fender will be the same as the AMG Line fender. Wheels wear 10 spokes (the AMG Line G500 has 14 spokes) but it’s also possible this is a mock-up.

However, looking at this extra image … but this single horizontal bar looks like a mock-up. If there is a horizontal bar pushed forward like the E63 grille the vertical louvres should be set further back, and if the horizontal bar is present I think the camouflaged part would seem to bulge a little more.

The impression is that perhaps this is nothing but the Panamericana grille with the same type of vertical louvres as the AMG GT and S63 coupe.

Panamericana grille began being used as a consequence of AMG GT’s updated appearance. The thick vertical line is nearer the front with faint horizontal slats visible behind, the same as with this test car.

The E63 is a grille with a horizontal bar, and in this case, vertical slats sit behind.

If it is a Panamericana grille, I wonder, would it look like the example of this image? Well, I think there are concerns to be had just by looking at the image, but do feel it won’t be a problem at all once unveiled and seen.
