​ ​Saipua​ ​opened at the weekend in a house that looks a bit like a Red Hook hovel (ahem … ) selling flower arrangements and their own brand of soap. I loved the the shop including it’s appearance which I loved the most, and although it didn’t needed much attention, the interior might be considered as redesigned. But this time the shop has moved and grown, and although I never went and tried it, going back seemed unlikely. Well, I finally got to go.
Apparently they previously went to luxury brand shops on weekdays to arrange flowers but nowadays it seems that greenery at​ ​Blue Hill at Stone Barns​ ​is also handled here. Handmade soup can also be seen at every select shop. The new store and work space is vast, and although the calm of the last space has faded away, the space is charming as ever.
