When doing it for as long as that, the way stores were first introduced would have changed quite a bit …I’m in the middle of developing a series on similar stores I’m visiting at the moment, and ‘Tamachan’ was central to Tokyo this month.
Grilled tomato and cheese is perfect with beer. Horumon-yaki (grilled intestine) is good too. As you’d expect Okonomiyaki is tasty, but other than that nibbles are really delicious.​ ​
The original tare sauce here is amazing. I always have some at home just in case.
