Osaka curry research continues. The Dancyu Curry special immediately caught my eye.
Keema and mustard chicken mixed topped with a supa-sho toro-tama (soft boiled egg) topping. I’m told the taste is changed by squeezing lemon over chicken half way through, and it certainly does … it’s delicious!
Dashi soup stock is a really big thing in Osaka right now. Here too it seems, but ‘Tsukinowa’ more than any other is drawing out that original Japanese taste somewhat.
