Wolfgang Tillmans has moved from Andrea Rosen to​ ​David Zwirner. And his bigger pieces were due to come up at Sotheby’s and Christies around the same time as his show at Tate Modern. Naturally, I assumed they would receive the highest bids ever, but this what they fetched.

Nevertheless the extra large abstract works are strong. When it comes to these, they look different in a way to his other work. I love his recent work, but want to see something new that goes beyond what he made his name with.
