The Terrorist’s Son
The book based on theTED talk by the son of a terrorist who helped plan 1993 World Trade Center bombing in New York.
This tragic connection here begins with ‘malice’, and though even as an atheist (I studied at a Catholic University) I touched on different religions everyday, my understanding of the scope of issues is limited.
His father helped plan the bombing of the underground car park of the World Trade Center in 1993. Welcomed as US citizens, the family would then split with his father.
This is the story about a boy that leads up to that point. Though not directly related to the fight depicted, I couldn’t rid my mind of the thought while reading, the viewpoint that's often referred to that “in Japan, we’re simply slaves to America”.
The book looks really good when seen on Netflix.
