I’m at another end-of-year ‘bonenkai’ party.
I recently went to a reclusive restaurant serving fashionable duck in the fashionable part of Nakameguro.
So didn’t expect that much, but it was delicious.
It was my first time so ordered the basic duck hotpot course when I made a reservation. But I didn’t expect it to come with a dish of 'yukke'(seasoned raw beef). This is delicious as well. Potatoes are fresh and tasty without the being overpowered by the duck.
This duck is outrageously good and the hotpot is finished in an instant. The sauce is exquisite too.
There are no 'men' noodles to finish with, but should I risk having the curry instead …
I was intrigued as the place is somehow wonderfully run and the way customers are taken care of isn’t something that can be done by a single store, but it seems that it’s hooked-up with ‘Tsukada-nojo’ on the ground floor apparently.Thats makes sense, ‘Tsukada-nojo’ is a good choice. Let’s come again for the New Year ‘shinenkai’ party.
