6240 PN (Non oyster)

The PN Ref.6240 came just before the OysterDown, but because of the Ref.6263 initial serial number, the OysterDown has become a standard at recent auctions. Yet, Antiquorum this time has put a black PN Non-Oyster dial in Ref.6240 with the logical development of a Ref.6240 with a serial number around 1.65.

Well, it would certainly be fair to say the reason for the regular inclusion of non-Oyster dials in Ref.6240 recently matches the serial number in 2line, Small and Jumbo models (whats wrong with putting a non-Oyster PN in a Ref.6240 1.6?)

But, with the white PN dial and Ref.6240 red circle it’s possible it could also become an OK if we assume this to be one. The auction company side would makes allowances when it comes to this. Of course on the collector side of things it would be interesting to work while watching the subtle shifts in these trends.
