As always I continue listening to jazz every day and a recent favorite is​ ​

pianist Mal Waldron.

It’s really interesting to listen to the work of this man chronologically.

Beginning with the relatively solid first album “MAL 1” their sense of freedom and darkness is stronger with each subsequent release.

The one I like the most is his 1966 solo album “All Alone”,

A very dark and beautiful album.

It’s disturbing melodies are irresistible.
