DAMON
Nobu from Hysteric Glamour and two others DJ’ed at this year’s Fuji Rock in the ‘Pyramid Garden’,
and gave a 5-hour DJ set.
Selected music was based on PSYCHEDELIC ACID FOLK.
Digging through jacket information in Nobu’s collection, there’s a mountain of artists I still don’t know.
The Psychedelia from the late ‘60s to early ‘70s removed the poor Garage-like
sound to reveal a unique sound from that era.
ACID FOLK was too Folky, and not that good either.
The two ended up with something in between PSYCHEDELIA and ACID FOLK.
By far the best of the group was a song from 1969, “Song of a Gypsy” by Damon.
The good album is packed full of oriental psychedelia!
