Tsukinowa’s Sousaku Curry

More Kansai curry hunting.
Recently heard a lot about mixed curry from West Japan, but what about Biriyani from the East side?
If I had the choose one way of describing‘Tsukinowa’it would be its ‘Dashi-style’.Curry comes with a decent amount of Japanese style dashi soup stock. There are other the well-established places in Osaka such as ‘Kyūyamutei’ and the crowning pinnacle of Japanese style, ‘Goyaraku’, but I love the balance here and it’s by far the most delicious.
The menu has Chicken and Keema curries and changes daily. Since this is my first time I’m going for the straight forward Chicken. Besides, it seems to come topped-off with Keema.
I order from ‘Daikara’ since I can decide how spicy. It doesn’t feel as hot as the chicken curry from Komazawa’s ‘Pikinu’. It’s just spicy enough be able to taste a decent amount of dashi.
I wonder if the chicken meat is properly boiled in dashi and not just water? It tastes so soft and moves me to tears but doesn’t feel at all like it’s missing something. It also goes really well with the eggplant.
Though even if I say it could do with more of the Kachumber style garnish, it seems to work well enough as it is.
No, it’s a good place. After all, the store is already well-known.
